cdma mobile coverage?

i'm thinking of getting a cdma mobile for communiction purposes with work while i'm fishing outside. can anyone tell me if this service extends to outside moreton, wide caloundra, barwon banks and offshore double island?

Spoke with telstra about getting a CDMA for coversge around the sandy straits. Our phones cut out as soon as you turn at about gambourian and nothing until your just about back into Maryborough. They advised of no plans to increase coverage in that area in the near future? Hear there may be a tower going up on the southern end of Fraser soon around Dilli, this might be some improvemnt, I know there's one at rainbow.

I have a telstra cdma & i can get coverage at rooneys which is up near the sandy cape. i'm very happy with it. it worked on fraser also last time i was there, only a couple of dead spots but pretty good.

I only get coverage to about 10kms off shore with CDMA, however I do live in a rural area.

Cal wide. yes
Barwons. yes on mine ,no on my mates cdma
Off shore double island . Unsure
Inside large shopping centres. No chance. thems the breaks
