Anyone know where to get decent Tuna Oil?
G'Day guys,
I am about to spend a day making and freezing berley and need to include about 10 litres of Tuna Oil.
When I look in the tackle shops now I find a variety of brands, a variety of oil colors and a variety of disclaimers on the bottles.
Some are oils including tuna oil, some are tuna oil emulsion, some may also actually have some tuna oil in them at times.
WTF?????
Does anyone know of a reliable distributor or brand to look for?
Thanks,

Re: Anyone know where to get decent Tuna Oil?
Thanks Drew,
Appreciate the info.
I got stung with the last batch I bought when mixing it it turned out to be an oil emulsion. It smelt like fish but that's about it I reckon.
As I will be making up about 120 or so litres of shark berley I don't mind spending a bit of time and money to get the right product.
Just wish I could find a place that will sell poultry blood, most poultry processors are tied up with contracts to protein recyclers and won't sell to the average bloke on the street, any way that's another story of its own.
Thanks again, I will give them a ring in the morning and try to get a Melbourne retailer.
