We have benn getting a few good squire drifting in 18ft of water in front of Scotts Point on soft plastics. Not big numbers but the average size has been 42-50cms. 1/8 jig heads and 3 and 4" powerbaits in pumpkinseed. Only about 100-150m of the rocks.
You can always have a crack in the Hays Inlet area. We have been getting a few average size Flattys on soft plastics in recent times, still working towards the bigger ones. Just keep an eye on the water depth as it gets very shallow in some places.
