    Fraser Island and Soft Plastics

A group of 5 of us go to Fraser for ten days each year. We usually chase tailor on the eastern side and 'bread and butter' fish on the western side - using bait. Does anybody know the answer to these two questions:

1/ Can you use soft plastics to catch tailor or do they just destroy them; and,

2/What is the best brands, colours and sizes of soft plastics to catch the 'bread and butter fish".

Ummm im not sure. Have caught dart on the Eastern side on them, but planning on having a crack at the tailor this year. Apparently most softies will get chopped up by the tailor but i think the Snapbacks are tough enough to with stand this.
    cheers,
    Jackash.

Depends on where you are going and when?
At thistime of year i personally would fish cromies dawn and dusk and then grubs

But give it a month or to and you might try the western side i could be [smiley=behead.gif] [smiley=behead.gif]for more info on the west father in law

Tailor love SP's, SP's aren't too keen on tailor. Make sure you take a good supply cause it is generally 1 fish per plastic.
