    Hi MarlinJ,

Check your PM. I've never actually been to the wreck but I've just worked out about where it should be from a calibrated map in Oziexplorer. It's proved to be a fairly accurate way of doing things in the past from my maps.

    Historic Wreck off Mackay

In the latest North Australian Fish Finder theres showing an Historic Wreck approx 13 miles out from the Habour between St Bees Is and Bailey Is, does any one have the GPS marks for it.

I've been trying all different methods of finding all the locations of the local wrecks and having lots of troubles.
The Marinetime Archioligy site says theres quite a few around but dosn't dissclose any GPS marks.

If anyones got any other wrecks that arn't listed in the NA Fishfinder I'd love to hear from you. Especially the Historic Wreck and if anyones fished them.

Depending on how deep the water is where it's located, you could try Google Earth. Don't know if it will help if the waters deep though...

I used it to find some reefs locally here, and then punched the marks into my GPS. Then it was just a matter of sounding around til you find it. I actually ended up right on top of the reef!!! (In about 1.5m of water)
