Just wondering what type of berkley minnow plastics you all prefer and for which situation. I like the powerbaits with all the glitter but the gulps have the nice scent which gets bites. So just some what you use, where and mabye some why's as well as what you target with the different types.
Have had a lot of success on three inch minnow with big bream, big flathead and big trevally. Nearly always take the watermelon pearl over anything else.
Have caught plenty of fish on both. The gulps are great for bream, they love them, but they also like the Powerbaits.....do yourself a favour and get both
Powerbaits good 3" watermelon my fav, caught trevally, whiting, bream, flathead, queenfish, pike, grunter, grinners, squire even a garfish lol anything will eat them
Hi Sergio,
Like Beefaman said, get both (you can never have enough plastic ), they both catch fish. I mainly use the Gulps for breamin, pretty sure that they have been used by the winners of the last 2 or 3 ABT bream comps. If one is not working throw out the other.
Favaourite colours would be Pumkinseed in the Gulps and Watermelon in the Bass Minnows.
Remo, We have used the power baits, but havent done much good on them. I have been using the bubbletrail curl tails lately, and they seem to do a better job!
Used the 4" watermelon Gulp curltail on the weekend....the squire loved them
remo,
Jacks like the pogy's. I caught my first jack on one same size and similar colour (the plastic not the fish). A Frient has the same one's and has been blown away by some unknowns around the canal bridges of the sunny coast. Probably jacks.
