    North Brisbane Tailor

Anyone know where the tailor are biting on the northside of brissy at the moment? I'm thinking of going for a few tonight after work. So far, I've heard of the following places:-

Dohles Rocks, Hornibrook Bridge, and Woody Point Jetty.

Anyone else have any more suggestions? Would love to get into a few... If anyone wants to come along for a bash as well, come along!

    Outoging tide, Woody Point Jetty.
We use starlights and floats with Pillies about 1 1/2 metres below float.
Bottle of green death or port, sit back and relax

How convenient... It's an outgoing tide after work today! Unfortunately will be driving, so not much boozing straight away, but afterwards.... !!!

I'm thinking that the jetty might be a bit busy tonight, so may just go to the side of it... See how we go anyway!

just try to do what Carlos does [smiley=cool4.gif] watch his technique and learn as much as you can but beware of casting over his line and taking his prime casting spots when he goes to get more bait [smiley=mean.gif] haha

on a serious note if we catch anything we'll put up pics...

Mate, If you learnt how to attach your bait to a hook properly, it wouldn't keep falling off, you actually might catch a fish, and you wouldn't have to go get more bait constantly!!!!

Even try around the corner from woody point jetty and go to Scotts point and fish of the rocks out the front there. Unfortunetly though the tailor only pass through the bay so sometimes it can be a bit hit and miss whether or not they are home when you go knocking on their door

Ended up going, but with the 3000knot winds, was no chance of catching anything! Should've settled for a case of XXXX and watching movies I think!!!

yeh your not wrong gunna,as you can see the bream had a lot more go in it than the average bream, had to get in the drink and wrestle him out, couldnt lift him, another reminder to ALWAYS bring the landing net...
