3 inch berkley bass minnows.

Have used these a few times for flatties and have had reasonble succes. Mainly through just doing large flicks and drops and getting most hits on the drop.
will be fishing in an up coming bream comp and would like to know how others fish them for bream around structure such as rocky banks, pylons etc. Mostly info on retrieve rate and favourite colours.

I prefer watermelon for bream. Very small, very slow lifts with a good wait in between seems to work. I reckon the 2" and 3" power hawgs are better for bream though.

i love the bass minnows in watermelon for anything espically bream!!! retrieve as slow as i can keeping it around the structure, i prefer a couple of short flicks rather than one large flick but have had sucess with both.

Yeah for the breambos flick in as close as u can to the structure with lightest jighead possible. Let it sink to the bottom and work it back as slowly as possible keeping it in the strikezone for as long as you can, just tiny little twitches up the line do the trick. The fish often take the softy jsut while its sitting there. But yep you should brain them on the dropshots, specially the watermelon.

Love the bloodworm colour with the 3" Bass minnows, but like the 2" Power Hawgs better. Like has been said above, use the lightest jig you can, depending on depth and current. Around jetty pylons and floating pontoons I use Nitro Torpedeos which are around 1/40th oz. Cast upstream and let the lure sink under the structure, I then give only tiny movements of the rod tip to give the SP some action. If the bream are holding tight under the structure the hit usually comes just after the lure has splashed down, if they are holding deep work the lure back to you slowly.
