Anyone got any clues on catching squid on the Gold Coast/Broadwater? I've tried Seaway and off Sea World with Yo-zuri's but not a touch. Had a coupla livies munched on the Bait Reef, brain bitten out, so obviously squid, but no hook-up >![]()

there's some gguys down at tallebudgera bridge who seem to have it donw to an art one sets up his spotlight shining into the channel with his jig at the ready to entice them as they come up to the light and the other walks up and down the with his jig under a float with a glow stick setup they seem to get a fair old haul so judging from their performance you just need a bright light and failing that make sure you have a glowing stick near your squid, should apply to the seaway
Near shag rock off straddie there is a good spot. Doesn't matter bout wat time etc. Seem to be their always!
