Went out 2day and got 3 crays, just wondering if anyone else gets many? Found some good spots now for them though don't wanna bag out on them as they are precious!

Yeah I get a few are you diving and what type of crays are you getting. Be careful not to post pics as they have been outlawed on this site (apparently) Only joking.
Free diving for them and mainly painted crays & some rock lobsters i think. Yeah I could imagine the uproar of posting some on here! LOL. I didn't think you were allowed to scuba dive for them?? Neways where all legal for what we do.

Got my first one a few weeks back. The other half is pretty keen on me chasing them after eating this one. Not a great pic but you get the general idea.

Hey Leo, great to see you making good use of the gun. However, I do reccomend cooking them before you eat them. Don't put too many pics up or you might join Bugs' $h!t list along with devo and myself.
Sandgroper, Devo doesn't scuba dive mate, he was referring to free diving also.
Hahahahahaha, got a few lobster pics. 3 massive rock lobsters that were just below the maximum limit. Will post later just to annoy you bugman.

I'm in a bad enough mood as it is without having to see the pics.
I'm going to Tassie for 3 days in October - wonder if I can fly my gear down and get a quick swim in - I doubt it
Bugman - Crayfish season in Tassie is closed in October ( Opens 1st weekend in Nov ). And our crays are all tiny, the water is freezing and polluted, hungry sharks are everywhere, locals are gun toting, territorial rednecks and with the exception of the West coast all the crays were fished out years ago anyway!
someone said that crayfish up here in Qld will not go into pots? or traps ................can anyone tell me if that is true or not?

You know you don't even have to equalise for them over there, just pick 'em up like Easter eggs.....don't even have to get the steel caps wet mate....

bigmack, yeah in queensland you have to dive for them as there feelers are to long so they won't pot!
