After the rain

G'day guys i was thinking of heading down to my local creek tonight for a session. Just wondering what are your thoughts on the effects that the rain has on estuaries and where to fish and what to fish for. Eg fish at the mouth of the river with stinky flesh baits for bream in the dirty water.

depends on how much rain you have had but fish tend to seek salinity in the water so try river mouths atc.

the bait gets washed right down to the river mouth when it rains hard, so its always a good spot for flatties

there should be a good spot near the mouth of the river there might be a few bream or flatties
