I have found that if you slop them around in coarse salt and pillie oil and then re-freeze them that they work again

Pig heads are the go, split them in half with an axe, muddies love em. Available at butchers shop and cheap too!

What a waste! I make me own brawn from 'em. Jack Purcell Northside Brizzy sells 'em at a buck each and they're already split. Trotters too.......3 bags for 2bucks.

Hey Kingtin I wonder how the brawn would go in the pot?
    If there was any left!

So if I use some roo , salmon and pigs heads with pilly and piece of mullet in their mouths encased in a chicken frame and covered in a nice sauce I should be beatin' em off with a stick.

I'm going to put the dillies in tomorrow at Hays Inlet and see how I go.

P.S. Any thoughts on times and tides for crabbing. Dad says get em in at daylight
