everytime i go looking for livies around the bridges etc, without fail i'll get more butterbream that anything else, and i've always thrown them back, but last night i must of pulled in 40 odd of them over the space of an hour, and only one herring i got to thinking, is there actually a size limit on them and if not what kind of bait would they make, i mean working on the assumption bigger fish eat smaller fish there's have to be something that'd gnaw on them, then again i was getting frustrated with continually rerigging my jig, (i was down chinderah so the net was a no go) i checked the dpi and fisheries website and they don;t have them listed so i'm assuming it;s a goer, but thought i would just check with wiser heads than mine.
