This weekend will be my first trip on the bay chasing these toothy critters so i am after a bit of advise on where i should be heading.I will put in at pinkenba and drop some pots around Mud then i was thinking of heading over towards the 4 beacons and see what happens inbetween.Hopefully i can find some livies and try these out around the beacons.
What type of rig do you use for the livies?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers Dazza
PS I don't have a sounder at the moment >Died on the last trip
Yep, DC is right. bring that spin set and be prepared to wind like crazy. If you can still wind faster, you're probably going too slow.
Dunno what size the baitfish are at the moment so take a variety of slug sizes with you.
You won't really need your sounder to chase tuna. Look for the boiling school under a flock of birds, sneak the boat up near them as quietly as possible and get ready to hang on.
