SCGFC Fad

It appears that the fad has become dislodged and is currently floating somewhere in moreton bay. It was last seen by Clayton (custardo) near NE8 yesterday morning. If anyone see's it over the coming days, please collect it if possible and contact either jeffo or myself. Alot of time and effort has gone into making and setting the FAD, and it would be great if we could get it back to replace it for everyone's use.

It's not good news at all. It's probably only been 3 months or so since it was deployed. The previous one lasted a year and a half or so.

The floating part of the fad is a yellow ball, approximately 700mm diameter, with a short aluminium pole on top and a (now) smashed strobe light. It has SCGFC or sunshine coast game fishing club written on it along with words to the effect of "do not tie up to this".
