    bottom or top for sharks?

    hey guys i was wonder if there is more sharks in the top or bottom end of the brisbane river as i am looking to go for a fish for sharks some time any help would be great

    Gday mate,
    Try sinking a bait on the bottom and have another rod out with a float. This is what i did last time- both baits got nailed. Ill try the same again next time.

    Hiya Bowds.

    Mate, my best sharks have been caught at shorncliffe in only 10 to 15 ft of water, fished hard on the bottom. If you're fishing in shallow water then I reckon a shark's sensors will nail a bait top or bottom. Unfortunatley, if you're on the bottom, so will a stingys's or shovelly's.
    OTOH, Ive had many a catty nail a floating bait,
