She Who Must be Obeyed has finally decided she wants to go fishing with me... only problem is the winds will be fair up this weekend by the looks of it.
So, What I plan on doing is heading up the Pine a bit. Was thinking around deep water bend.. ANy suggestions? Dont really care if we dont catch monsters, would just like her to get into something she can eat
Any other suggestions? We'll be launching from Dohles, or maybe even from the little muddy ramp just around from deepwater bend. Boat is a Signature 542F so cant go too shallow

had the same problem wonce the missus said you always take your mates fishing little did she know ive got know mates so i take her down the pin for the week end fishing and romanceing after the romance yeh right she says lets do some fishing so i say i only know how to fish offshore so we head out through the pin bar get about 10 kms off shore and she decides she ,s going to be sick take me back when we get back she says i do not want to go fishing any more i say ok little did she know it was blowing 25 knts of se so every time i go now she thinks of that calm day i took here out so now we just go whitting fishing in the little tinnie and she loves it but i have to tell her all the time its blowen 25 knts so i can go offshore
Well, took the wfie out through and around the deepwater bend area.
She landed 3 large catfish which were promptly returned using long handled bent nose pliers and I got nothing more than mosquitos.
Oh well. She was stoked to have "outfished" me.
Meh.
I feel so dirty now.
