    Richmond River Non Event

Spent a week fishing the Richmond and apart from 100 dog fish all we caught to keep was 2 bream and 1 flatty. Tried a heap of different baits, rigs, tides and times and sweet FA all week.
There was a big low pressure system moving in and I wonder if that had something to do with it.
managed to get a nice feed of muddies so all wasnt lost

Anyone else fished the river recently and had more luck

    Hey JubJub,

Good to hear you're out and into it though...Minnie was a little quieter this year though we managed to scratch around and get a feed most days.

    How's the new boat going?

    Re: Richmond River Non Event

    Hi Rhys,
I have been in the boat every spare chance I get and I coudnt be happier with it as a first boat. Nice and easy to handle and enough power to do all I want at the moment. We have had a good look around the Richmond river and a bit of a poke about in the clarence from Lawrence to Harwood. I havent been game enough to head outside and although I am really keen I want to get hold of a guy I know to take me out a few times and show me the ropes. I still need to buy a little bit of safety gear and wont until I have my mate lined up or I am likely to get the urge and just do it. At least this way I cant without going shopping.

    Pete
