Hey guys,
Ive got a cast net but no boat, so i want to know some spots where you can get a good feed of prawns..
Ive been to a spot that we got around 20 prawns in 1 hour, but i would like to try some other spots.

Small pontoons at boat ramps are the way to go. But be carefull of snags, and when they are on there can be some locals who try to 'own' the spot. Some of my spots when I was trying last year were, deep water bend, and nudgee beach. On a good night I've pulled three quarter of a bucket of bananas and greasies mixed. Good Luck
I remember years ago using a dip net with fine mesh around Toukley, just N. of Sydney. The water was about knee deep and it only took about an hour to score a great feed of prawns. I don't think a cast net would work their because of the weed and other stuff on the bottom.
Cheers
