    ttone,

There are a bunch of land based fishing locations around Bribie island on the Shore Fishing Australia website.

    Take a look at

    Hi,
When you get to bribie go to the post office and get a map of Bribie they are free and will show you the names of fishing places people mite mention.

Buckleys hole has some nice all round fishing
Bongaree jetty some nice cod being caught of there at the moment

Under the bridge you will see a few Yachts anchored out from the bridge fish out from them near the bridge if you hire a boat
White patch there have been a few nice bream caught there at the moment of land and from boat.
A bit of drifting in this area for some nice whiting

The canals for some Mangrove jack.
There are so many good fishing spots at Bribie the list could go on and on

    Hope this helps
    Cheers

If you want to hire a tinnie, be quick, apparently in the big blow last weekend he lost quite a few when a wall or something blew over on em!

There are also "BBQ" boats for hire, from spinaker sound I think.

Surf side might be good for a few early tailor, dart and whiting.

    Fish'n at Bribie

Hi, I will be taking my family for a week at the end of March to Bribie Island. As we wont have a boat, I would like to know where the best places to go fishing?
Are there any boats for hire up there, and are they any good? Any advice will greatly appreciated.
    Thanks and Cheers
