Re: NOOSA
Hey mate
Try around the canals and developed areas towards the mouth.... trying not to be too specific . Great spot for bream, flathead, trevally and the odd queenie, jack and tailor. Had a heap of success on these species using softies around christmas. Go for a fast and eratic retrieve across the surface with a jighead jsut heavy enough to keep it below the surface. The Berkley Powerbaits 3" bass minnows did the job for us in the Pearl Watermelon. Try and hit the river very eraly morning to mid morning and mid arvo to dusk, as this is when there seems to be alot of surface action.
During the day you can also try around the sandbanks towards the mouth for bream flatties etc.
Good luck
Cheers

Re: NOOSA
I have had good result drifting fish baits about near the mouth for flathead. there seems to be no shortage of them there.
