    Wynnum, Maly, Lota Landbased

Hey guys... might head out tonight or tomrrow (know this post is a bit late notice). Just wondering where you would suggest trying landbased and what species I am likely to encounter. Also anywhere near there where i can get bait... I'll probs flick softies and the like but i dunno if the gf will be up for that.
    Cheers

Try around the Lota creek mouth. Last couple of hours of the run-out tide and first few of the run in. Walk out across the mud flats (park on the Esplanade around Alexander Street). You should get a few flatties and I have also got pike whiting and flounder there on SPs. You can pump yabbies on the mud flats there as well and I have seen some good whiting caught.

I have laso fished the Lota rockwall Rando mentioned quite a bit. Get some fresh bloodworms and you might score a few whiting and the odd bream. I have also got a few little flatties on SP's around this spot.

    Regards

    Chris
