Re: Brunswick Heads
Things fired up after the wet but now pretty quite from what I've seen off the stones. Mack tuna working schools just out of casting reach. Otherwise just the usual smallish bream and bite-size whiting.
If you can co-ordinate a trip on a boat it's fairly flat out. We're boating and releasing Cobia to around 26kg, getting a few spotties and had a striped marlin play with us for a minute or so. (If you're not specifically targeting them their rasp-like bill normally makes short work of mono).
Matey, have fun. Wish I had better news for you off the stones but hopefully you prove me wrong.
PS If you're geared up with 24kg game gear, send a large 1/2kg bait out on an outgoing tide and have fun with huge shovelies. Had one alongside the boat three weeks ago around 12 foot long. You might want to tie yourself off to one of those rocks.
