shallow tempest

Hi all, I'm new to off shore fishing and am hoping to hit shellow tempest this friday and bag some reef fish. Anyone got some feedback on this spot??

Had a friend head out on Sunday morning (I think it was SUnday anyway)
Got a nice mixed bag (Sorry cant be more specific... was having a few quiet ales when he told me the various species).

All I know is he pulled in about 2 dozen fish from Shallow. Deep tempest was too rough after they arrived so shallow was the sum total of their fishing for the day.

been out there with a mate one time and got onto some big kingies over a meter, and some decent snapper.

We've fished shallow a fair bit and caught some good snapper, spangled emperor (sweeties) and some good black kings. the place either fires or is like a desert. Thats what we've found. The place fishes best around dust and dawn.

either hot or cold but i dose fire well sometimes. My biggest snapper have came from there 24 and 26 pound aswell as big sweeties

Thanks guys, better give it a crack then. I think Ill bottom bash at first light, then troll for some top feeders. I'll try and post some pics if we get on to somthing.thanks once again

ive never been ther before.... but id say therd b the odd fish or 2 that swims through ther often ahahha
