Hearvy Bay
hi all,
Im new to ausfish and im going up to hearvy bay on the long weekend comeing up. Just wondering what was been catching around there at this time of the year and where is the best place to go and wet and line.
I will be using plastics and live bait (are cast nets leagel at hearvy bay)

Cast nets are legal although you can not use a cast net on the Urangan Pier.
Fishing is absolutely firing on all 8 at present.

About 5 years ago we went up there,on the way 2 fraser island and we saw acres ok macktuna stripes and all sorts 5kg and up.

Hey Ando,
went fishing at the NU2 marker on saturday and in the space of an hour caught 6 legal school mackeral, 10 bonito and 2 mac tuna, so if you have a boat, there would be a great place to go.

mate now ur back hopefully u had a great trip and u wont reed this for awhile as ur suspended from ausfish! norty norty lol and try not to use my big fish pics to pass as pics of u!!! busted!!!! lol cough salmon cough... anyway how big was my flathead i caught at brekky creek???! prety gud considering it was my first time with sp and it was biger then any of urs!
