Hey Guys
Just wanted some info about fishing redlciffe landbased...
I'll be going tomorow and an not real sure of any spots around. Id love to get some nice flattys, bream, whiting, tailor, squire...whatever is biting at the moment and i'll be using SPs and probably some sort of bait..any ideas?
Probably gonna get there around 10 30 so i'll have about an hour of the incoming tide...
Thanks guys, anyhelp would be great as i havent really fishd this area before.
Scotts Point has a few bream and choppers around, tides are pretty big with the new moon and the wind doesn't look like it's gunna get much better so you might be better trying some of the rock walls (Shields St, Queens Beach, "The Wells" there under the new bridge) the bream are smashing prawns green or cooked, but there are plenty of little ones to every keeper. Remember theres lots of rock so no need for a trace.
There have been a few tailor caught out from any of the Redcliffe rock walls - brother and co caught about 8 choppers before running out of bait last night.
Cheers
JA
