Hi all,
My colleagues and I are planning a driving trip to QLD for early June. We will be going from Cairns to Brisbane.
We are all more-or-less beginners but we'd like to catch some big fish during a half-day charter. Is this a realistic target and how much should we be expecting to pay?
The Whitsundays area looks good as it's a good midway break during the drive. Any recommendations for operators in this area?
Some sites state we can keep what we catch. I assume this doesn't count if we catch something huge like a marlin. What is the cut-off point? We'd love to catch something big like a marlin but the experience of cooking what we catch is also very attractive.
