Guide to big fish trolling anywhere?

    Hi all,
Would anyone know of where I might find some advice re rigging and trolling for bigger fish pls. Regularly catch snapper, flathead etc in and around Tomakin down the south coast, but want to give trolling/fishing for the more adventurous species, like kingies a go.

I've got a Savage 4.5m runabout. Anyone in the Canberra or Batemans Bay region who would like a free trip out to sea, to demonstrate techniques is more than welcome.

    Any advice gratefully appreciated.

    Welcome to Ausfish.

Not sure how no-one answered this post.

On a similar question I had last year I was referred to this site.

Pakula have a DVD you can buy which is extremely useful for rigging and trolling techniques.

    http://www.pakula.com.au/

Else do searches on Ausfish's forums, and check the info on the site as well - very useful info for your query.

Also try refining your question slightly - sometimes you get more answers if you ask specific questions:

    i.e How do I rig a ballyhoo ?, etc

    Cheers

join a local game or sportfishing club. Who better than a few locals to learn from?
