from scarbrough boat harbour head directly towards cape moreton around 4-5km out i think. should be in beacon to beacon anyway -

if you were coming out of bribie passage veer to the right and head towards scarborough a couple of k out u will see a red beacon the banks are on the moreton side of this at the moment there will be plenty of boats around there while the winter whiting are on .or if you have a gps s 27 07 803 e 153 07 906 hope this helps darrenComment
