Fraiser Island Fishing Comp

G'day all,

I am thinking about going up to this comp next year and was wondering if anyone knows if it is going to be on roughly the same time next year?

i found that web site but that is only for this year...

also any other information about the place would be very helpful...

We will be towing our boat up from Wollongong (just south of Sydney) and any info about long LONG distance towing would be good too and roughly how long it would take to tow up there?!?

Boy o boy you will use a bloody tank of fuel getting up the first hill
A highway full of trucks to brissy, phew glad its you.
Take a look back through the fishing reports about fraser and you will get all the info you need for the island.
As for long distance towing, pre travel servicing, need i say anymore. I see that many c/vans and boats broken down on the side of the highways because of poor mantinance.
As for next year, i think you are a bit early but when you get a date, if you intend to stay at a house up there get on the phone and start booking.

yeah will be doing all the maintenence before we go and will be carrying spares of all discriptions cause, well, murphys law will kick in!!

yeah it is going to be a long drive.... prob 2-3 days hahaha
