I live in Gladstone QLD, I am assuming this is where you are referring to. As far as which part of Gladstone to move to in relation to reef fishing i dont really understand what difference it makes as to where you live around town as there are several ramps around town and the one at Boyne Island . The size of your boat is probably also of relevance as to which of the local ramps will best suit your needs. The Auckland Creek ramp in the city centre is probably the most popular as its a deep creek/channel into the harbour, however the facilities at Boyne Island are excellent except for the fact that the mouth of the Boyne River is extremely shallow on low tide therefore making tides something that you need to work around.
