they feed on triathletes then the bullies cop the blame - piranha of the coast nasty buggers, never ever swim in fluoro neoprene its their favorite.

that breams ok looks like you kept it well too, should be nice eating - i'd be interested to hear how it comes up smoked because bream are excellent baked, and smoking isn't that different as a cooking process.

I'm thinking it's a self portrait top job. By the look of your hand size on the fillet it's a nice feed well done.

It's not how big it is, it's how you use it that counts.

Well done mate. That is a nice bream. Ignore the big noters, they're probably dreaming anyway. Unless of course they can post some pics.

    ausfish photo tip # 441B

fish look bigger in small hands

it did just about rip his arms off though - would have to be the adult equivalent of wrestling a knobby - the tailor was 35cm, both caught on the humble yabby.

Yeh, good onya onionpants. Not a bad breambo at all. Quite tall fish too, so I bet that made him bulkier than he looks in the pic. I've smoked bream, and they tasted great.

Yeah mate I agree with everybody that say congrats and bugger all the rest that don't reckon it's that good. Here's a pic of my missus with a corker we got down on the tweed out of one of the cane drains last year. It was somewhere near the 42 to 45cm from memory and really fat through the guts when you looked at him from above. The funny thing is it didn't put up any fight at all really, she hardly knew she was on to be honest. This weekend however we got onto a patch of them on lures that were 25 to 35cm that went like cut snakes! They would have pulled the fish in this pic backwards!

You are correct in saying that area of fresh water around Robina is good fishin too. I have actually caught bream and bass side by side near a well known shopping centre that starts with a letter of the alphabet......

I think everybody has missed the major point here. Onionpants is a truly hilarious nickname!

And yes, before anybody comments my wife is not Australian. She is Italian.
