    Mangrove Jack

    Hi every one
    Just wondering can u catch mangrove jack in the brisbane river. If u can were abouts what time and does any one have any pics of them?

    I'm new to Brisbane myself and was wondering the same thing.. I used to have a ball catching the toothy red critters in Townsville. I guess they would inhabit the Brissie River and i'll be interested to here what people have to say.

    Yep, anywhere along the walls and docks "even though they are out of the question now' from the mouth to the city. Some real big ones along the hamilton reach that love a live poddy.

    Plenty of small ones to be caught south of banana banks, yet to get one of a decent size though.
