where can I chase squire near redcliffe

    Hi Ausfishers ,

Can anybody give me some advice on places to chase squire close to the shore near redcliffe, woody point etc as i only have a ten foot tinnie.
Also are sp's like 3 " swiming mullet and 3" minnow grub going to be of any use chasing squire.

    any help would be great.

    cheers Pritch.

There's reef structure at Woody Point....

I would suggest bigger plastics like the Zoom Super Flukes or Salt Water Assassins rather than those, although the 3" Minnow Grub will get you some fish.

Best idea is to study reports of people like Aquarius & Touchy (The Wello God Team) and take any info available and just relocate it to Redcliffe. This may involve a long read through the reports section WAY back into history....

Use this weekend to get a V-Sheet & Flares (BCF $45 on special). Go out to Scarbough Reef your protected from the SE all the way out there. Get out there before Dawn and fish on the D.Bay side where the exposed reef finishes head back home mid morning and u'll have no worries in a 10 footer.

DON"T GO THIS WEEKEND YOU MIGHT BE WALKING BACK DOWN THE REEF

Thanks for the advise guys I will try these spots out in the next week or so.
I have been catching plenty of bream flathead etc in the pine but would like to try something a bit more lively.

Once again thanks heaps guys its realy good to be able to access such valuable info from people who have been there done that.I have found that talking to people from work & such can be more confusing than informative as most of them dont fish freuqently there advise is more like chinese whispers.

Has anybody got advise on SP retrieval techniques for squire?

    Thanks Pritch
