Turns out Narrowneck is pretty good for some decent Tailor hauls, took a couple nice size fish, and let a lot more go.
Anybody else got any tips where else is good to hit??
I'm waiting to see what other people suggest.
They've closed the pumping jetty for 6 weeks, that would have been a good one for you.
On the sunshine coast I have only fised at Noosa.
There you could try at the Munna bridge. It has produced big bream, flatties, estuary cod and trevally for myself. If you have a cast net you can also get herring under the bridge there.
Hope this helps, but it is a long way to travel if your in brissie.
Cheers

On goldie for landbased you can get a mixed bag near the trawlers.
Head down past Versace Hotel take a left before Petes fish shop and there you are.
Its pretty deep and near the Gold Coast marina so sometimes some bigger fish stray, always done better with live yabbies pumped from the same foreshore.
Just walk north past the trawlers and there is a 15m stretch of sand , chair , beer , radio.
Perfect (hopefully)
Gold Coast , Queensland. Paradise!
Cheers lads, I'll give em a go!! allways keen to try my luck, beats doing what I should be doing round the house.
If you are into fishing for bigger fish you can hit double island point north of noosa noosa heads has a lot of good locations from dolphin point right around to hells gate
point cartwright and the headland of colaondra works good too
