Estuary Cod
Hello Ausfishers....
we had many fishing experditions, and caught numerous number of cods but hardly kept any, cause i heard that the legal size for a cod is 50cm,
until the day we caught another cod that was going at around the 40-45cm mark, and my friend who and amatuer who insisted in keeping it to show off to his mum and had a feed of course,
so could someone correct me if im wrong the legal size is at 50cm or different???
thanks tri....

Re: Estuary Cod
35 cm is the minimum size in Queensland for Estuary Cod. #See attachment copied from the official regulations below which are available at http://www.dpi.qld.gov.au/cps/rde/xb...ebaglimits.pdf
Also there is a good article on estuary cod written by Webby in this month's Bush & Beach.
Have a look at the regulations for other cods.

Re: Estuary Cod
Heya Tri Kun
The estuary cod is 35cm but a few others look quite similar and have 50cm limits so make sure you can tell them apart if you are tempted to keep a smaller model.
