    Threadfin in brsibane river

    hi all,
    just wondering if anybody is haveing luck finding threadfin in brissy river and if so are you catching them on bait or sp's. Its something i haven't tryed down here yet but would like to give it a go, if anybody has some info please drop in and let us no.

    Hi, I saw a kid catch a 8kg threadfin off a ferry terminal at hamilton back in January in about three minutes with a small poddy mullet as bait. When they run they run - best to wait for some rain, three days later ,,,, bingo. Also check out the photo pages as the guys down at the wharves get them sometimes too.

    mate there is a site called www.brisbaneriverclassic it had heaps of pics and info on salmon in the river as we target them
