Yeah I used to use Cabbage Tree Point Boat Hire too (5546 1332). Always fine service, the boats always went without any trouble. It is a bit of a hike out to the pin with a 6 or 8hp motor but the small motors make them well suited to trolling for flathead if you want to give that a go.

I hired a boat last week from cabbage tree point hire.
$75 for the day. Old guy who runs it is great.
Got some great fish really close to the boat ramp(within visual distance)
got about 25 flatties between 2 of us.
3 of them around 70cm.

if its not working in the pin i highly recommend dohles rocks boat hire ( ) and a pleasant afternoon could n't be better spent bobbing along the pinr river with an eskie full of plump whiting?
