i will go to caloundra next thuesday and stay for 3 nights in one of the hotels on the beach (gemini, moorings, watermark or worldmark). i will probably do some landbased fishing on the jetties or ... i don't know...just go and see.
i wanna know what kind of fish i am supposed to catch and where do i get the bait.

Plenty of bream around that area at the moment and they will eat just about anything, but you could pump yabbies on the banks just down towards Caloundra from Gemini towers or up at Bells creek, if you have a cast net then you could also pick up some herring which make for a good bream bait also. If you do not have a cast net then get yourself a bait jig and jig this around the pilons of the many jetties int the area including the one directly in front of Gemini.
