Fishing waypoints eg.structure, drop offs, reefs etc.Not after your plots on your special spots just an indication of where these areas are.

In the bottom of the bay areas like the northern and north east corners of Coochie, Macleay fishing the shallows or drop offs into the main channel are worth a try.
Further north sandy island, and the cleveland shallows.
The entire surrounds of Peel except horsebay have good shallows and reasonable drop offs.
The same applies to the Goat island and the channel drop offs from the 1 mile north to Myora.
Rainbow and rous have tremendous structures and deeps drop offs, the only prob is current.
Hilliard ck all the way north passed green and st helena to mud, their eastern facings have some reasonable to very good structure and good main water flow drop offs.
Mud entire surrounds and the northern end of st helena are alll worth a try.
From chain banks up passed harries right up to sharks spits are other areas reasonable to good fish pass over.
Their are isolated structrue and wrecks scatter thru the bay from mud across to tangas, but you need to be in the no as to where they are, and not to many will give them away.
The western side of moreton from cowan north to bulwer again have ver y good areas to fish, but once again current is the killer that deters a lot from trying.
Mate if you not into plastics, nearly all of the above and with the right tides at night produce some reasonable to very good fish.
A bit of study as to what fish are around this time of year and where you'll possible find them goes a long way in helping bring a scale onboard.
Using the right baits and fishing estuary style not offshore will also help.
A few exploratory trips will help in finding what below in most of these areas.
Dont no what sort of rig you have, but wx plays a big part in where and when you can get out there and then getting home.
Have a read thru the bay and estuary section and you should pick up heaps of advice.
Some waypoints in the bay are not worth entering, your better off findng your own turf and it wont come in one trip.

    Gidday Mate,
a mate of mine bought a copy of a magazine named GPS Marks or something equally similar and as you he located spots, marked them in the magazine (with sat. photos of the bay with GPS marks for nav) it soon builds up to be a 'Bible' - just don't leave it on the dash and realise round the back of Mud Isl. !!

There's a book out called "500 Hot Fishing spots". Covers an area from Cairns to Byron Bay. It has quite a few waypoints for Moreton Bay and it only costs about $10.

    Cheers
    Kit.
