Tips on catching Jew at the Jumpinpin

Hoping that a few people have some ideas or tactics for targeting Jew at the Jumpinpin, baits, spots & tides. Any ideas would be more than appreciated

Float fishing live bait such as herrings, small tailor, whiting etc, is good around some of the deep holes inside off the entrance to Swan Bay and off Kalinga bank, best in the new moon period and obviously at night. You will get plenty of runs, especially if you berley. If you are not prepared to use wire, you will also lose some rigs to sharks and the big jewies. Slab baits are a close second. There are many more options as well such as the ocean beach on south straddie if you are prepared for the walk.
