Have a look on Brownies website. You should be able to buy it through there.

Hi all,
Is this book still in print? Updated version? I have not seen any here in Brisbane lately and am looking for a copy.

Colloquially we still call it Brownie's Beacon to Beacon opr just "Brownies" but I think that he has sold his interest in it and it is just sold as the Beacon to Beacon directory.
Thanks guys.
Hi
I posted about this a couple of months ago, as I couldn't find one either and was advised that the new edition is due out in August!
Janine
i bought one from BCF.... still plenty available
The above is right,
Brownie has nothing to do with it anymore, its just beacon to beacon.
The next run or edition is out in August/ September.
They seem to get better every year so I would hold off.
Cheers

PS I am in Brisbane N/S. Nat.

Hi
To add to the above, i spock to one of the managers in Maritime Safety Queensland and was advised that there will be an updated version of Beacon to Beacon out for fathers day, all going well. Nat.
Unless you are desperate, wait until the new edition is available. It is now published by Maritime Safety Qld, a government institution, so not as "on the ball" as when Ken Brown started it off. Neverthless, the new one is due August and has more stuff than the current version.
No worries, I will wait for the new edition.

Beacon to Beacon is a good publication to have onboard, lots of info but it's not a real substitute for an Admiralty or local chart.
Unless they have improved in the new one. Otherwise they don't show depths and the pages don't overlap.
At best they are a reserve navigation tool, and only if you use the marked channels.
