Well done, not a bad way to kick off. Hope you haven't peaked to early. Judging by your other picks it's doubtful.
Did I read it right !! you used BAIT!!!!!!!!!!
Should be ashamed of yourself
But still a good fish

Rainbow Trout is NOT skittle flavoured fish.........
Great fish Ian.
May it be the start of many more to come.
Craig
It certainly is a great fish and it tasted just as good.
He rang me at work on Monday to let me know that he had gotten one. I must admit that I was a bit sceptical at first as I know how much of a bug bear snapper have been to him. Had to ask the most important question.............. does it have a lump on it's head. I was then promptly informed that it did. He was estatic and the grin was still there Tuesday morning and comes out everytime he talks about it.
I guess this is one that I will be hearing about for a long long time to come.

Mate, Congratulations, I bet you couldn't wipe the grin off your face when you boated it right up until you posted it on the site. Keep us informed on your exploits, you have a natural talent there.
Cheers

Live every day as if it's your last - for one day you're sure to be right!
Well done ian, so you were on the 24s then? Thats good thinking to keep the bait above the school, many would have dropped it to the bottom. Im aiming to get my first red soon as I can get out there. Shoulda gone last Sat, but I got livies and mucked around in the seaway instead.
Top fish.
cheers
Andrew
nice fish, well done.
