Mowbray park used to be a good spot,any where along the river is worth trying.

I'ts at east brisbane 2 or 3 kays from story bridge.The trick with mowbray it to use un frozen(fresh) squid,fish the rising tide on a dark night,6 foot trace,so a surf rod does it for me.
Cast to the left hand bend on the op side of the river(theres a 70 foot hole there)
To hold it on the bottom u will need a size 10 ball.A baitrunner will be perfect,let the fish run for 10 sec before striking
