G'day mate Me and my neighbour and his 2 boys went to caboolture river in my boat saturday afternoon till dusk. Very exciting with my new rod suit sp.
I had sp with esturary rod over year not 1 caught only toadfish keep nip on sp > almost give up with sp
When I got new rod it was just right and looking forward to give a go. Drift from the mouth going into river give my sp a flik flika fews time then BANG got a fish and I was over exciting to land a fish and not the fish I want it was pike over 32cm >
But I am happy to break my first virgin on SP SP was a red rum 3"sqiggy
time was short went there 4 till 6 with helping kids to fish.
Unfinished sp so we head back all we got pike,whiting 27cm(neighbour son caught) and full size sand crab
Nice to be out of home
