decided im going to chase some muddies this season....new to the game....what is the best bait to use ?? thanks

mullet frames, chicken frames (smell after awhile). good luck

mackeral heads or mullett best,
But any fish heads will work

I use Roo Tail from pet shops that sell fresh pet food. absolutly deadly on muddies. have lots of success on mackrel frames also

Yep I'd go for the Mullet always worked for me though the Roo Tails sound interesting . I suppose if you use the roo tails you might have to anchor the pots down though to stop them jumping around .

ANY ROAD KILL YOU SEE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD (AS LONG AS IT REASONABLY FRESH) , CHICKEN FRAMES OR FRESH MULLET

G'day
Mullet and chicken frames are the best 2 baits out there. I've gad great session on wahoo head (12 muddies in one pot). Reef fish frames are no good an I find salmon very poor. Mackeral and tuna are very good aswell.

Can't go past pig heads cut in half with axe. I've had them in pots for up to three days & still caught muddies. hard to get these days.
