G'day
Well... there's your problem there. You need to tie them on with a loop. The perfection loop is what you need. Have a look in animated knots here on ausfish thorugh the hints and tips section.
If this doesn't help, they do say to bend the eye of the lure in corresponding direction to how they swim to "tune" the travel of that lure.
Dave
Whenever you put on a new lure, swim it beside the boat and "tune it" like Dave says.
If you really want to do it properly, tune them before you put them out every time!
thanks on my way out now will give it a go cheers.![]()
i have always just tied a half blood knot or used a snap swivel and never really had any drama's ...when they have not swam strainght i have just tuned them like the other boys have said to
Hi Deepjiga, i got a tackle box full of Manns 5+ &10+ and i tie straight onto the eye and never had a problem out of the box, i always watch them swim beside the boat before i let them run back but never had to tune any of mine straight away, except i have one in my box i can`t get to run straight but i think that was from being smashed by Mackeral and had the bib chewed and hook rings bent , tried to fix itwill make a good chrissy tree decoration this year.
