Getting desperate. Mate and myself are getting withdrawal symptoms. Haven't had much of a fish lately. We have a leave pass for late tomorrow afternoon into Saturday night for some land based fishing. Going to dig some yabbies and maybe try some plastics. Hoping someone will take pity and suggest some spots anywhere between Maroochydore and Brisbane river where two average fishermen can throw out a line and sit down and have one or two quiet ales (and possibly scotch) and pass a bit of time telling each other lies. The occasional bite to keep us alert would be good. Also how do plastics go at night.
