    You are only eligible to claim a record if you are a member of ANSA or IGFA. Qld state ANSA records are located at www.ansaqld.com.au Also you would only be able to claim a fish caught on 10 lb braid as "all tackle", since braid is not rated at a particular line class.

    For example, the current record for a snapper in 'sportfishing' is 10.6 on 10 kg line, and for all tackle it is 11.4.

    The guy who got the snapper in the kayak at cook island has photos of other cathes he has made down at the caravan park at fingal.. In one of them he has a nice size marlin he cought while in his kayak
