    hey guys, i just saw on brownies a report of spotty mackrel near the m8 beacon. has anyone been catching schoolies or spottys inside the bay yet?...cheers

    heaps of schoolies about.

    not in big schools but they are about in reasonable numbers - measured mile, and Mud Island Ive caught them at

    trolled small minnows from the NE corner of mud to the grazier a week ago, with no result, not even a hit. From the report's i'v heard, they are still very hit and miss in the southern bay
